Giving the Gift of Education about Substance Abuse

Despite the winter weather, Drug and Alcohol Presentations, Inc. is still working hard to make a difference in the communities across our region.  Recently we made several donations of our Victory Packages, which include the complete set of our educational DVDs on topics such as drugs substance abuse, addiction, and treatment.  The recipients of these gifts included the following:

  • The Charleston Treatment Center in Charleston, WV (Contact: Genise Lalos, Clinical Director)
  • Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department (Contact: Chief Deputy Mike Rutherford)
  • University of Charleston Graduate School of Pharmacy (Contact: Dr. Michelle Easton, Dean)
  • Doddridge County Schools (Contact: Ora “Rick” Coffman, Superintendent)
  • North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC (Contact: Christ Austin, Substance Abuse Consultant)
  • University of Pikeville in Pikeville, KY (Contact: Renee Watson, Dean)
  • New River Community College in Dublin, VA (Contact: Rod Reedy, Activities Counselor)
  • Transylvania University in Lexington, KEY (Contact: Mike Vettor, Dean of Students and Erinn Foglesong, MS, Health Educator)

We are grateful for the opportunity of providing our education presentations to these schools and organizations, as part of our efforts to prevent drug and alcohol abuse and addiction through the power of education and awareness.
